Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technician to join our client’s imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammographic examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. This role requires attention to detail, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammograms and other breast imaging procedures according to established protocols.
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all images are of high quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate images and provide preliminary observations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly maintain and calibrate mammography equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • ARRT certification in Mammography.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technician.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving communication systems (PACS).
