Terrelonge Staffing Solutions (TSS) is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Bridge Engineer on behalf of our client, a reputable engineering firm specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects. Our client is focused on delivering top-tier bridge design and construction solutions, fostering innovative and sustainable growth in transportation.
Position Overview:
The Senior Bridge Engineer will lead bridge design projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, client specifications, and environmental considerations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in structural engineering, and experience with large-scale bridge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the design, analysis, and execution of bridge engineering projects.
- Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and construction plans.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including civil engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Perform site visits to assess project progress and quality.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE license required).
- 8+ years of experience in bridge engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proficiency in bridge design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar).
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, design standards, and codes (AASHTO, FHWA, etc.).
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
